As wonderful as his usual works and even some very funny history about castle bathrooms.
Rating: - Bringing the past to life
This pop-up book is an adventure of incredible (sorry for the use of an overused word) constructions in paper that spring up from each page.I marvel at the engineering genius of Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart.There is lots of accompanying text on the life in Medieval times, especially within the castle.I learned what an atilliator is and does. In addition to the pop-ups, there are some interactive motion illustrations of occupations.I love collecting these books, and what a treat to read ... Read More

I ordered this book for my grandson but the day it came in the mail I couldn't quit looking at it. There is just one beautiful and interesting page after another. My husband jokingly asked if I bought it for My grandson or Myself. I can't wait to give it to him for his birthday.

This is a very cool Pop up book.The Art work is very well done.The book is very informative.A great collectors book if you like Knights.My 9 year old son has it displayed on a shelf in his room.

Very well-done.Some of the pages are interactive (pull tab and workers hammer, spin wool, knights joust)and the pop-up pages are beautifully designed.I like how sturdy the pages are... Many pop-up books easily break/tear with child's use, but not this one (if handled within reason).At times this book's price goes down at an unbelievable price on Amazon so I would wait for that!Highly recommend...
