WHEN IT SAID MATS I WAS THINKING VINYL. BUT THESE ARE METAL. THEY LOOK GREAT ON MY COUNTER TOPS, AND WORK GREAT TO KEEP HEAT OFF. QUICK SHIPPING.

These are a great size and shape and fit in my cabinet without any trouble.I'm able to carry a stack of more than 3 plates without any problem.
