It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by saut??ing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.Porcelain Exterior is easy to clean while the cookware provides even heating.A nonstick interior lets foods slide out of the pan easily.Glass Lids allow you to monitor foods without removing the lid. Classic construction gets a fresh burst of color in this stylish everyday cookware set by Rachel Ray. Included in the 10-piece grouping are a 6-quart covered stockpot, 1-1/2- and 3-quart covered saucepans, 8- and 10-inch open skillets, and a 10-inch covered sauté pan. All pieces are crafted with porcelain-enamel exteriors and nonstick interiors for even heating, scratch- and corrosion-resistance, and easy cleanup. The set also features riveted handles made of stainless steel and silicone that stay cool on the stovetop and are oven-safe to 400 degrees F. To top things off, glass lids allow for frequent monitoring without letting heat, nutrients, or flavor escape. A nice starter set that's both versatile and inclusive, this collection brightens the kitchen as it amply supplies the chef. It comes in blue, green, and orange, and it's backed by a lifetime limited warranty. --Kara Karll

- Lightweight and cooks evenly
I have had heavy pots for years and wanted to find out if a lighter skillet would cook as well.I bought the yellow 10-piece Rachael Ray set and so far am very pleased. The handle stays cool and I am not concerned that I cannot lift a larger pot or maneuver a skillet. It appears that the cookware is well thought out to appeal to all types of cooks.

- TERRIFIC!!!!
Very happy with product.Cookware heats up evently.I have to be honest, the color orange struck a cord, it is my favorite color, so why not buy cookware so maybe I'll cook more.Well, that strategy is absolutely true.I enjoy cooking more because I'm gravitating to my favorite color - ORANGE.
Thanks so much Rachel Ray.I'm very, very happy with my investment.

Also, if you can do it, try not to stack the pans inside each other. After just "throwing" the pans where they belong in the cabinet, and not being easy with it, there are a few small nicks starting to show where the pans have constantly been thrown together in my PANS, not my pots (those I can keep separate). So just be gentle ... Read More
