I purchased this as an upgraded version from the one I had been using at my previous job.I don't care about the picture stuff, so I can't speak to that. But I thought the TTS option would be nice.It is nice to hear the actual street names. However, I would like more instructions to speed me through some of the options instead of hitting buttons, and then hoping that I remember the right sequence when I get to the option I was looking for. Also, my last (lower version) model automatically went ... I bought this as a present for my wife, she loves it.We used to think that we would not really use a GPS, but this GPS spends more time in the vehicle then in the house. The primary criteria for purchasing this unit was Garmin brand name, price, and to speak street names. It has a pretty good list of points of interest, it is only missing businesses less then a year old.I was not interested in bluetooth or anything like that.I wanted a cheap unit that if it failed or got stolen, I could easily ... I just returned from a 4,000 mile trip. The GPS was awesome. The driving directions were excellent. The options: fuel, motels, eating, golf courses - their addresses and phone numbers made the trip very enjoyable.I'm still working with the unit to find all of the information that is available. The Garmin nuvi 260, although very economical, is more than adequate for all of my needs.
