- Timer knob slips off track
Usually I'm very happy with B & D products, but this one is a disappointment.The timer knob slips and is slightly difficult & challenging to get back in alignment.I don't recommend this product.

Rating: - Dangerous and stupid design.Do not buy this to make toast!!!
Toast controls are microscopic, so it burns everything.No click when the toast is supposed to be done. Doesn't always shut off after toast timer rotates to the "off" position, so a dangerous fire could start.Wire trays stick, making it difficult to open and close the door.Worst design of a toaster oven I ever saw, now that I know to look at the amount of space on the rotary dial allowed for toast.May be a functional oven, but I bought it for toast.Returned it fast, and bougtht a slick Oster ... Purchased this from the local Walmart for 39.99, but Amazon is THE place for research and reviews. My basic toaster oven died and while doing the research was turned on to convection ovens. I've never used a convection oven so my comments are base on just this model as I have nothing to compare it to. I have had it for about a month now and have been very happy with it. I've cooked or re-heated chicken nuggets, french fries, pizza, fish sticks, toast, english muffins, frozen waffles, etc. with very nice ... Read More

I read all the previous reviews for this product and decided to take a chance.I had a Black and Decker for years which I loved, and it finally
died so I trusted the brand to a point.
It does a good job of toasting after practice.Overall I think the temperatures may be a bit on the high side though I haven't tested it with an oven thermomater.The clicking noise is very unabtrusive.
I've had the product a month and so far, so good.
