Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Worked perfectly, exactly as advertised
I'm pretty confused by the bad the reviews. I burned 17 of the 25 so far with no problems. All were burned at 8x. I verified each disc on a separate machine and there are no errors. For the price, these are clearly a great buy.

For those that had problems, I wonder if it's the discs that have problems or the equipment? It's impossible for me to say, but I do notice either hot (4 or 5 stars) or cold (1 star) reviews. These leads me to believe it's not the discs, but whether the burners ... Read More

Working with three different burning programs, one of which is the current Nero Burning Rom (9.4.13.2), on a brand new Sony Dual Layer DVD-Burner (purchased at CompUSA) as well as a rather reliable NEC burner (Both with entirely current firmware), with every resident process killed, My internet disabled and using disks from two different stacks from two different manufactures...

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Crappy DL DVD's
Please avoid these discs like the plague unless you are in need of 25 coffee coasters. I've purchased these once in the past and they are the worst dl discs that money can buy. Frankly, I'm not sure why the company is still in business when they churn out inferior products such as these. I guess it's because technology challenged folks simply don't realize how bad these discs are. So, hopefully anyone reading this and any of the other reviews on this product will steer clear of inferior discs and go ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfectly fine media
These discs seem to get a lot of bad reviews, but I just don't get it. I've bought two packs of 25 and have only burned one coaster. And it was my screw-up so basically I've had absolutely no problems with these discs. If you're burning on a budget, these are probably the best way to go. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Possibly the worst brand on the market, and I've burned lots of them.
Stay away from these DVDs. They might possibly be the worst on the market. As someone who has purchased too many Memorex dual layer discs I can tell you from experience that 50% of the discs in any given container (25s or 50s) will be defective.

This is across multiple burners and computers, so it's not them, it's the media. These things are still too expensive for that high of a failure rate.

I just purchased my first pack of Verbatim dual layer discs, and every single one ... Read More
