Rating: - Simple and effective.
This is my 7th(seventh) Bitdefender Total Security I bought in the past two years. I use it for all my machines(three total) and for my customers machines(I make computers for living/hobby). Let me tell you people-I did not have a single problem with any computer I was using this product on. Minor "discomfort" I had with 2008 edition on two machines running Vista, because after running clean up Bitdefender would show message "cancelled by user" even after deleting all junk. Rating: - Good Choice
I purchased the Bitdefender Total/Internet Security suite
and got a license for 3 pc's for a period of two years
for less than $40. The product seems to work very well,
however, I do get an error from Outlook Express every now and again that requires a reboot before using Outlook Express again. I would recommend this product to my friends.
Rating: - no customer service
I have purchased at least 5 licenses from Bitdefender and it always has been a pain and misleading.

Now I cannot even renew the licenses. After I fill out the order form with all the information that they already have I get a message that something is wrong with my account and to try again.It does not say how many times to try it.

It has been an extremely frustrating experience and now I have to uninstall it from a bunch of PCs and find another anti-virus program.

Rating: - Problems
Unfortunately this is the 2nd Bitdefender I'm using. It interferes with other programs. I prefer to watch DVD's that I copy onto my hard drive since the actual DVD's if watched from running in the DVD drive get very hot and will ruin them in a short time as well as wear out the DVD drive.
Bitdefender will often destroy the copy onto my hard drive. If I completely disable bitdefender prior to the copy I don't have this problem, BUT I often can't open the DVD drawer after disabling Bitdefender. I've ... Read More
Rating: - May protect your computer while making it useless
To be honest, my computer wasn't useless while I tried running this but it was unable to do basic tasks like burning data to a CD (wouldn't work with either Roxio or Nero). Trying to do so would freeze the computer up to the point that after a couple hours I would have to unplug the machine to get it to shut down. Bitdefender's support staff listened to my problems and were only able to tell me that they would fix the problem in a future version.
