I'll keep this short, but I have owned many HP over the years and this is by far the worst. It jams on every other sheet that I print, drops from my home WiFi network daily and freezes up when printing in every 1/4 jobs. The papertray design is awful and is very hard to get to when it does get jammed. The back piece that comes off to remove paper is already falling apart as I have had to remove it so many times. Hate this printer!

I read a lot of conflicting reviews on CNET and also here on Amazon, and with great trepidation went ahead and bought the C7280 anyway because it was the only printer that had everything I wanted (real phone-line fax, printer, copier, scanner, and WiFi).It turned out that I need not have worried, for most of the complaints, it seems, were due to compatibility issues (or perhaps operator error) as the users could not get it installed and working on whatever network and computing equipment they were ... Maybe we were unlucky and got a lemon, but this is the worst printer I have ever owned, and I've had about a dozen of them going back to the days of dot matrix and daisy wheels.
This jams CONSTANTLY, to the point that it jams more often than it prints successfully. My husband has the patience to keep using it and unjamming it every time he wants to print, but I have stopped using it and have our old printer connected back up to our network as well so I don't waste time every time I need ...
