If you care to hear frank sinatra at his absolute best, this is the box set to own. What a pure, clear sound! Definitely THE singer of the century!! This box set could sell for much, much more, and still be the steal of all time. Hours of enjoyment listening to music the way it should sound!!
Rating: - The Whole Package
This is a great set for fans of the earliest to the latest Sinatra tunes. Especially love the "Teen Idol Years" CD, complete with shreiking bobby-soxers.Wonderful songs, many of his greatest and most loved. Would make a great gift for any Sinatra fan.

Some years ago I purchased "Frank Sinatra: The Capital Years.""Frank Sinatra: A Voice in Time (1939-1952)" is the perfect companion to The Capital Years.Covering his recordings on the Bluebird and Colombia labels, the listener hears a Sinatra quite different from the swinging Sinatra of the 50's.This is the balladeer par excellence.Many recordings include the arrangements of Alex Stordahl which fit in so well with Sinatra's smooth delivery.
