- Spent over $100 dollars and can't use it.
I spent over a $100 on this grill and can't use it. I didn't see any where in the product discription that you can use this grill on a ceramic cooktop. I guess I will have to find someone with a gas stove or old style electric burners to give it to. VERY, VERY disappointed. Now I have to find one that will work.
I have several other Rachel Ray pans and love them but this is dis-heartening to say the least.

This griddle/grill is fine to cook on.Most reviews say it's difficult to clean so I figured how bad could it be?Well, it's impossible.I have a standard size sink which is smaller than the grill so soaking it is out of the question.I called the number on the paperwork enclosed (customer service) and they suggested using soap.Instructions say no soap but I tried and that did no good either.I e-mailed Rachael Ray and although I was promised a response in 24 hours, I never heard from them. ... - Perfect for conventional stovetop!
Bought two of these for family members for Christmas; the one with the conventional stove top burners loves it, but unfortunately, the one with ceramic cook top reports it doesn't work because of the edge around the bottom of the grill that keeps it from making contact.Not a performance issue, just a heads-up comment.

This is by far the most used item in my Kitchen; I have used it on both my wood stoves & my gas burners; It performs Wonderfully no matter what I make... everything from Pancakes to steaks; It is easy to clean... Although as with all Cast Iron... Its heavy... I watch Food network & my creations come out as picture perfect as theirs do... I Highly reccomend this product. THX

I really do like this product.The only complaint I have is that it is a little difficult to clean.Besides that, it cooks everything very well.I am sure I will enjoy it even more during the winer months.
