I bought this mp3 about a week ago for only $40.00 (I found out it went into clearance a few days after my purchase, with a 50% off. I wonder why?). I thought it would be good and easy to use. I use to have the much superior NW-S205F 2GB from two years ago that my wife gave me.That particular model was perfect even though I had to use Sonicstage that most people complain about it I don't know why. It got too much sun exposure so it broke.

-I could not recognize a memory effect
-you don't need itunes to copy your daily podcasts!!!
Tip: if you have problems with copying files, here is how you can solve the problem: put the mp3-files into i folder and copy the folder, then you get no error message any more

Very nice menu, good sound quality, but it had flaws since I bought it. Loading songs into the player was very difficult because it did not accept more than 5 songs at a time; it disconnects when you try to upload more. Moreover, in like 3 months it stopped working not matter what I tried to do. It just died.

Glitches. That's the name of the game with this baby. Hit the "volume down" button, the player halts your song and switches to record mode. Then you have to fast-forward to the part of the song you were on. Charge the player, and it might freeze, even if you wait for it to say it's safe to take it out, so you have to reset it every so often. Then, after five months of regular use, it just won't turn on. My computer and Xbox 360 recognize it, but the player WILL NOT START.
