Okay so the Miracle Blade company has a terrible reputation, almost nonexistent customer service & doesn't make the worlds best knives by any means. So why the high rating? You get what you pay for. These are cheep n cheerful quality, which if that's what you're looking for, is fine in my opinion. Maybe you don't want to spend $200 on a set of knives? I know I don't.
These are cheep for a reason. They won't hold an edge as long as more expensive brands. They also tend to tarnish especially ... Read More

I am a knife geek and this set more than satisfied me.They are not perfect, but they are perfect for the money.The slicer compares with the Wusthof bread slicer for cutting French bread and doesn't cost $145.I discovered that the slicer is the best tool for cutting up large cardboard boxes so the gargagemen will take them--its better than a saw. The other knives work well and stay sharp for a reasonably long time.So why not five stars?Well, they are stamped and not forged and are therefore light ... Read More

It works.Not as the overweight guy on "as seen on TV" infomercial says but then again it's a knife set.Don't buy this thinking you can go out hunting, chop firewood, then come home and whittle a bit.If its a simple knife set you want, then it works.
Not a higher rating because of the cheap feel of the plastic handles.

Ok first off yes if you place these knives in the dishwasher, as with most knives, they WILL rust!If you take care of your knives at all you should always hand wash and dry them.I have owned a set of steak knives for over 5 years now and absolutely love them they are the only knives I will use.I have had the entire set now for about a year and will never own a different set of knives.If enjoy cooking and want a good set of knives purchase these.You'll not find any better and you'll NEVER beat the ... We own this exact set and I would consider it a great value.I don't consider these top of the line or anything close but you can' beat it for the money.The steak knives are quite good and haven't dulled after daily use and putting them through the dishwasher.I also love the Rock & Chop Cleaver & The Chop & Scoop Cleaver.These knives are stainless steel and we have never had one of them rust.Overall I would say these knives are better than average.
