- Happy to take my Nuvi on the bike path
Based on the reviews read here, I ordered it last week and it arrived today. Really easy to install (instructions included) and the Nuvi held securely in place. Worth the money given that I can extend the use of my Nuvi beyond the vehicle and can track my pace and distance on the bike path.
Rating: - Great bike mount
The bike mount is simple enough, consisting of zip-ties, an angled rubber shim, plastic mount and gps holder. It fit perfectly on my Specialized MTB. Angled shim accounted for the slope of my handlebars and I was able to pretty much center the unit. The mount itself has a quick release so its easy to grab the gps unit when you park the bike. Perhaps a little overpriced for what the kit consists of but overall it works well.

I actually bought this item for my husband to use on his motorcycle. It works great and fits snugly on the handlebar. We've not had a problem with it holding the Garmin at all. The only drawback that I can see, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars is because you cannot charge it while riding the motorcycle because the cord would be laying across the gas tank and there is the possibility of scratching or rubbing the paint. But the charge does hold for quite some time, so it could be recharged when ... Read More

I bought this for my son before he moved to California. The GPS been a life saver for him on more than one occasion, and since his sole source of transportation is a Triumph motorcycle, this was absolutely necessary. It works great. It holds the Garmin steady, over bumps and everything else, and he can see the Garmin screen. It doesn't rain much where he is in California, but when it does he covers the Nuvi in a plastic sandwich bag.

I like the unit as it holds my nuvie 200 very securely even over very rough terrain. The attachment to the bike looks weak but holds very well.
