- Nice shoes, good value
These do seem to run small compared to other brand shoes. I had to order these in a 12W which is the biggest size shoe I have ever bought. The distance between the sole and the top of the foot seems to be the limiting factor... at least it was for me. When I ordered them in my normal size I couldn't even get them on. This could be due to their W size not seeming to be very wide at all. The only way I can tell these are W size shoes is because they are marked as such. They don't seem to be any wider ... Read More

I've had a pair of Rockports for a number of years.Most comfortable shoes I've ever had. So I was confident about sizing and confort & I was not disappointed. This new pair , though different style name, equals the first pair I had. When I needed new shoes I searched Rockport dress slipons. When I found these at a sale price I immediately ordered.
I only have one criticism, not about Rockport, but Amazon's pricing. I ordered the shoes on April 10.When I checked the site again on April 18 ... Read More

Okay, I don't usually buy shoes online/mail order because shoes seem to vary is size from brand to brand, but....
I had been looking for a pair of slip on semi-dress shoes for a couple of weeks, but I had two qualifications that had to be met:They had to not be expensive, and they had to be somewhat plain looking.When I saw these Rockports at the clearance price, I knew that I had to jump on them.

Bought a pair of the oyster ones that were on sale, size 8.5.I own 2 other pairs of rockports (1 slip-on & 1 oxford) and am a snug 8.5wide for those, but the 8.5 regular here felt much looser than either, more like a 9.
