HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld (FA979AA#ABA) (110 Series)
I owned one of the original Palm Pilot PDA's purely for organizing my time and to avoid missing appointments.About 6 mos ago, it died of natural causes.I finally replaced it with the HP iPAC 111 Classic Handheld.
It surpassses my expectations, although it has taken quite a while to adapt.I wish that we did not have to buy all the applications such as internet, and email. It does however live up to my expectations. ... Read More

Still learning the device after converting from my Palm device. Some features of Palm are better, but overall very happy with the iPAQ.Wish that you could password protect individual items rather than the entire device.Having problems with sync in that it syncs well for awhile, then has to have a soft reset before it will sync again.Appears to be slower than the Palm.
Rating:
- a very good option
La recomiendo, es una excelente opción de compra para quienes buscan un Pocket PC económico y muy funcional.

- feels cheap- screen poor resolution. not very usable for me.
My dell was failing after three years.I bought this as a replacement.I sent it back and bought and kept the treo pro.I sent it back because:
1. very poor screen resolution.
2. soft, plastic like screen that is difficult to write on.Seems to flex.
3. WM 6.0missing a lot of things that WM 6.1 has.I don't think this is upgradable.
4.overall, did not feel like a high quality piece of technology.
perhaps the ipaq 211 is more substantial, but i am happy ... Read More

HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld (FA979AA#ABA) (110 Series)
This is my first handheld. I am a contractor that needs organization. I have hesitated for over 2 years thinking it would not do what I need from it. I am surprisingly satisfied with everything it does and now regretting that I haven't purchased one a long time ago. I have read other reviews on the HP and I do not have any of the glitches others are having. I chose a separate PDA because I am way too brutal on my cell phones, they don't last. I ... Read More
