I have the one that came with a Bacardi bottle, and this beast.You will never need another muddler.Enough said.

On a scale from 1 to 10 , this bar tool is a 17. Easy to clean, easy to handle, works well in a low ball glass , works well in a Boston shaker, makes mince meat out of muddling an entire lime or lemon (which has been sliced into quarters or eighths) with very little effort. What are you waiting for ? Your Old Fashioned and Brazilian cocktails will thank you !

I love Mojitos, but never had a muddler to make them, so my home made ones were never very good, until now!
The stainless steel shaft is pretty rugged.It has finger grips to hold it by its side.The top is flat, yet not uncomfortable to use by gripping the top.Seems to be dishwasher safe.
The bottom is plasitc which does concern me a little, but so far it has held up very well.It is concave, but has "spikes" to help muddle the lime and mint.I only have to muddle ... Read More

i'm not a fan of the lime-and-mint combination in a mojito, but i LOVE caipirinhas and i prepare lime-ade almost every day!i love the heft of this muddler; sometimes i get "twinges" when i use a can opener, mash stuff with a fork or grind spices in my molcajete, but the weight and leverage of this muddler made my work much easier!also it's long enough to work in a pitcher, deep bowl/pot/jar.
i mashed up 12 avocados all at once in a big bowl in less than 10 minutes (that includes cutting ... Read More
