- A quintessentially modern umbrella
First impressions: The auto-open/close button is pretty cool. The only non-automatic thing you have to do is push the umbrella into its collapsed position, and wrap the ribbon around it. (If only there were a mechanism that could do that for you! But this is a flaw shared by every umbrella I've ever encountered.) The hood of the umbrella is both light and durable. I'm really pleased at how portable the collapsed umbrella is.
The handle does, however, have a slightly flimsy feel. When ... Read More

- More like a kids umbrella
I am 5ft 8in 140lbs and I find this umbrella too small. The coverage is minimal, especially if you are carrying something else. The shaft is short and I can only get three fingers around the handle not all four. The wrist loop is poorly placed on the handle and gets in the way; I was going to cut it off but I ripped it off in frustration (way too easily). The only thing I like is the auto-open/close, but that was a requirement for any umbrella I was going to buy.The only thing saving this from ... - all right by me !!!
This rather large umbrella by Totes really comes in handy whenever it's raining. It also protects you against light snow and sleet. It's particularly strong and durable; and therefore this umbrella is well worth every single penny you'll pay for it. In addition to the traditional black it also comes in a bluish color or tan. Great!
The one touch button for opening and closing is easy to operate and it hasn't malfunctioned yet! This has been the umbrella I have used for quite some while now ... Read More

- great umbrella with some limitations
The Totes that I bought to replace the one that I had lost are great umbrellas. Sturdy and very useful. The one I lost was over 6 years old and was used during every rain storm and that is a lot around here.
The only complaint is that these new ones are not quite as big and they do not extend the second level like the older ones so they are nearer to your head and are not quite as useful when sharing with another individual.
