- Good, But not Stellar
Flyleaf first caught my attention with the track, "All Around Me". It is my favorite track on the CD. It is good but nothing especially innovative. It is cool to see a girl at the front of a good rock band, but Evanescence already had introduced the sound. Don't get me wrong, these guys (and girl) do stand apart from Evanescence and don't sound like just another clone band. "All Around Me", "Red Sam", and "Fully Alive" are the stand-out tracks of the CD so if you decide you don't want the CD, but ... Read More

- Pretty good...could be better
I was completely mesmerized by the lead singer's ethereal voice, and after I saw the videos (especially for "All around me") I had to buy this album. It is overall pretty good (certainly the hits are great) but it does have its weak spots. However its persistence on the charts shows that even those lows are higher than many other band's highs. I would recommend it highly. A good group of fellow Texans who did well.

- Fully Alive
Even though I am not a Christian, Flyleaf is one of my favorite bands. I first heard them when the "I'm So Sick" video came out and I was instantly intrigued. Don't be deceived by their popularity or comparison to bands like Paramore (not insulting paramore). They have a one-of-a-kind passion.
I really hope they don't lose their screaming in the next CD :-)
Favorite track: 'I'm So Sick' or 'Breathe Today'
Least Favorite: 'Perfect' or 'So I Thought'

- Good music
I had heard a few of Flyleaf's songs on the radio which I really liked. After buying the CD and listening to it a few times, they have a very unique and different sound of most music I own.It takes a little while to get used to their sound, but it's overall a good CD.

- Flawed But Not Bad
I'd never heard of this band until I kept hearing a song on KOMP 92.3 in Las Vegas. It had a female singer and when the song hit the chorus, it sounded like she was singing "messa potato." When they added a song clip of the chorus to one of their commercials, it drove me nuts enough to call in. The jocks went through almost every song they played that had a female singer until they came across "Breathe Again." A little investigating revealed this to be an overt Christian band and those mysterious ... Read More
