- Cheap Product
It broke within a month where the metal support meets the hinge pin.
Not stable and it looks like it has happened to others.

- Nice unless it's windy outside
While the product description says this has a cast aluminum pole, it is really an extruded aluminum pole that is only slightly heavier gauge than a beverage can. Within days of placing it on my deck, we had a moderate wind which snapped the pole in two places. My older umbrella actually has a cast aluminum pole and has withstood years of heavier winds. This product would be a nice accent in a greenhouse, or some other indoor application, but it should not be used anytime there is a possibility of ... Read More

- Beware of the tilt mechanism!
We purchased the umbrella in late March but only began using it a couple of weeks ago. After only a few uses, the button on the tilt mechanism broke off making it impossible to hold upright. We had the umbrella up and went to tilt it and the spring in the tilt button popped out and then the button itself broke and popped right ... Read More

- Our Terrace is now Paradise
These umbrellas are all I hoped for and more!Great constuction and perfect color (for our house anyway.)We had to remove an enormous 100 year old oak tree bordering our terrace and the two umbrellas give us back our shade plus giving the area a "vacation spot" ambience.I wish I had bought two - in case these wear out.JDL
