- Can't keep the water out of my ears...
I have trouble keeping the water out of my ears.I had the original H2o headphones, and those were a disaster; water constantly got in, which cut the sound completely. These H3 headphones are better, but not great. Some days I just can't keep the water out.To make them work, I have to run a line of wax from wax earplugs around the earpieces (this is recommended in the manual). This is a sloppy solution; the wax does not always fit well, and it wears out and has to be replaced every few swims. ... - Junk, but no alternative for some uses
First off, if you want waterproof headphones for lap swimming then get the Swimman headset. The problem with the Swimman headset is that you have to have goggles to attach them to and that they block out all other sound.
I use these headphones for outrigger canoe paddling in the ocean because I don't need goggles to attach them to and I need to be able to hear what's going on around me.Not an option for inner ear headphones. Here's where the "no other option" part comes in, and the ... Read More

- Great product for swimming!
I would recommend the H20 underwater headphones.Just get them snugly in your ears before getting them wet or you might struggle with the water in your ears canceling out the sound a little.Very comfy and I can't wear regular earbuds because they fall out easy.Good investment!

- They didn't last long enough to justify the cost...
I was so happy when they came, and for about a month or so they worked. I swim everyday and laps really get boring after awhile. I was really disappointed when the sound started breaking up. Only one ear works consistantly, the other breaks in and out, driving me nuts. I'm still looking for something reliable.

- Pass on these if you're a serious swimmer.
When I first heard about these, I figured it was a neat idea but that they were probably a gimmick. I swim 2-3 times a week, between 2 to 4 hours a time - I have enough trouble stopping to adjust my goggles and swim cap, I figured I didn't need the hassle of adjusting one more thing. One of my friends has this and she's very happy with it, so I decided to give it a shot. Well, let me just say that my friend doesn't do flip turns and does not go very fast. If I'm doing a cool down - going very slow, ... Read More
