Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Astonishingly Easy To Start Charcoal
It's like a magic trick. Two sheets of newspaper, some charcoal (I used lump charcoal), and 15 minutes later you have coals ready to dump into the grill and cook on. Amazing! Verny nicely constructed. The wire mesh grill really alows a great amount of airflow creating a strong updraft of fresh air to the colas. Definetly worth the money.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Third Weber Chimney Starter I've Owned
I grille at least once a week using a combination of charcoal and hardwoods. The chimney completely eliminates the need (and taste) of liquid charcoal starter. A wad of old newspapers for fuel, your favorite charcoal and/or wood chunks for flavor, and in about 15 minuits pour the fully lit wood contents into you grille and you are good to go. They do burn out after a few hundred fires, but what the heck. Very ingenious product that I have enjoyed for several years.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Turn Upside Down
If you only need a small amount of coals, like 8 or so to keep a long cook going flip it upside down and use the short end. I don't bother with newspaper. Ever since I tried the Weber fire starter cubes I've never gone back. 24 in a pack for about 3 bucks. Use just ONE cube to start that bad boy and in about 20 min your good to go. Use the bottom grate on the kettle to start and when their ready just lift and dump.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This just works
This starter just works. Its nothing fancy or high tech it just does what its supposed to.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Excellent product
It works as advertised--no lighter fluid needed. However, be careful using in even modestly windy conditions.Hot paper ash will blow out from underneath the starter and get all over. Also, keep a close eye on the coals, because this thing will get them hot quickly. If you wait too long, you're coals will be burnt out or close enough that you won't get much cooking time or you'll get low heat.
