- Dish Network extender
I bought this to work with my Dish DVR, it is silent, there is a light on the front that says it is working, it looks right, has worked flawlessly so far, and is not hot. If I need one I will by another. ron

- Western Digital My Home Edition 750 GD
Hands down this unit reads all USB,Firewire, and the new eSATA speeds up to 3GB. This Western Digital is the only backup unit to have, and I'm have had many different brands of drives in the past and they have all ended in the trash can. This is the one to buy......

I bought this to add additional capacity with my Dish Network DVR. I did have to make a call to Dish to figure out how to move/retrieve recordings from the DVR to the drive (Menu button/Media/Manage Device) but once that was accomplish it works great. The extra capacity is wonderful.
