They are spongie, very comfortable, the hidden toe strap keeps my foot from sliding forward and eventually stretching the leather.Would buy another pair in another color!

I like my Clarks sandals very much. They are quite comfortable.They do run a little long, but I had read that on other reviews and ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear.I had also read from other people that some of them had a problem with the shoes squeaking, but I have not had any problems at all with that issue.All in all, I am quite pleased with them and would definitely order them again.

Nice fitting narrow sandal. Wore it in Las Vegas on it's first outing and was quite comfortable all day. Looks nicer than most thong sandals, too.

I ordered: brown, size 9.5M
I really, really like the footbed of this sandal. It's wicked comfortable, soft, and provides a good support. The shoes can be dressed up or down (though not too down), but I'm kind of eh about the appearance overall.
What I do not like is that the strap near the toes rubs my pinky-toe raw. I do not have particularly wide feet and I own several other pairs of non-wide Clarks shoes that fit fine. For whatever reason, the texture of the strap just ... Read More

Clark's fairway thong sandal.Sometimes you buy a thong sandal that gives your feet freedom; but the thong is improperly sewn, and therefore uncomfortable to walk in for long periods of time.This is a gem!
