Rating: - Just enough but not abundant.
I was satisfied with the light output but if you are looking for a floodlight, this isn't it. If you want to light all the keys evenly, you may need to go with a good lighted usb keyboard.

The light is a bit dim, but most of all the bendable neck is too short. It isn't terrible but it was cheap. I'd pass and try another light.

This is just as good as it looks in the picture.The bendy neck is the correct stiffness - enough to hold it in any position.Switch on the back of the head is convenient for turning it on and off without unplugging. Recommended.

Because of a physical condition, I need a little more performance out of products like this and this more than fills the bill for me. The metal gooseneck is highly adjustable, yet very steady in service. The flat wide design of the light allows for a focus that illuminates the entire keyboard,important to a 'seek and discover' typist like me, but does not produce enough excess glare to interfere with someone sitting right next to me. This is a great product because it allows me to work on my laptop with out turning on the big light in my room all while I can still see my keyboard!Great Product!
