I hate the paper taste from filters and I have a new coffee maker I'd had a hard time finding a permanent filter for.The shipping was a little high but it's too high on most Amazon products and they seem to find a way to add tax, too on too many items.

I never used a permanent filter before so this is my first experience with one.I was expecting something cheap and flimsy but was presently surprised.Worth the couple of buck.

I got my son a small Mr Coffee and one of these filters so he will never be without filters. It fit well but it a little difficult to clean the grounds out of the mesh.

I imagine this would be great for people who have garbage disposals. Unfortunately, I don't, so I spent my time using my fingers and paper towels to try and get the grounds into the trash can. By the time I was done, I had used more paper than if I just went with regular paper filters, so I switched back to those. This filtered the coffee fine, but doesn't fit with my situation.
