The Compass Rose Design locket features a handsome highly polished compass rose design lid. This quality Sterling Silver compass locket has an ornate hinged cover that opens to reveal 5/8 inch (16 mm) diameter working magnetic compass. The locket weighs 0.3 ounces (8.5 grams), measures 11/16 inches (18 mm) in diameter and is .41 inches (10.4 mm) thick. The locket is stamped "925" to designate the quality Sterling Silver content (92.5% pure silver).

I got this for my sister as a thank you gift for being a bridesmaid in my wedding. She does a lot of traveling abroad and I thought this would be a cool token of my thanks. I guess I expected more after reading all the rave reviews. I thought it would be more substantial. It is delicate and light. to me it looks cheap, not something that I paid $50 for. I will admit that it looks better on than in the box it came in. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like something you'd get at the dollar ... Read More

- Compas Rose Locket a good value.
I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it.I received the locket in a very timely manner. Only concern is that the clasp is rather tight making it hard to open up to see the compass.I think that is better than a loose clasp that is alway falling open.Good experience, I would definately purchase from this vendor again.

This is a really nice pendant, very unusual.I enjoy wearing it, and often have someone comment on it.The only drawback is that it is difficult to open it up and show the compass inside, particularly when I am wearing it.But that may loosen up as I use it.

It is quite weighty, very shiny and does have a working compass as the description states. There is not addt'l room for a picture but I didn't buy the locket for that reason.
