- Great, basic retractable clothesline
Just installed the base and after adjusting the tension with the cleat on the bottom (be sure to read instructions) hung clothes on my porch to dry for the afternoon. This is perfect for drying clothes quickly, then I just retract it out of sight when not in use. Really exactly what I needed and very inexpensive for the value provided. Planning to buy one for my mom.

This clothes line hits that high point on the price/quality curve. I have paid more and gotten a very slightly better one, and paid less and gotten a poor-quality piece of junk. The swiveling mount is very handy and so far, the retracting mechanism is holding up fine (which is what breaks first on the cheaper models). Wish it came in more colors so it could blend into our house color, but not an issue if you have a light-colored home.

Rec'd my outdoor clothesline just a few days after ordering it. I had a similar one that was worn out. I almost purchased one on-line at another store for almost double the price. I use this clothesine all spring and summer. I have it attached between a few trees in my backyard and since it's retractable it is not visible when not in use. This product is all made of cheap plastic and the bracket broke after using for less than 6 months. Don't expect this product to withstand any normal usage.
