Easy to use everyday. Quick cleanup. Compact, does not occupy much counter space. Looks good.
Rating: - Best purchase ever
Cooks all types of rice beautifully & saves time. Rice is never over or undercooked. This is the best purchase we made in 2008. Brown rice comes out the nice & fluffy. The timer function ensures that we have warm rice ready to serve when we need it.
It is the perfect size cooker for a small family.
I have used it only for a month so cannot say much about durability.

I had to have a great rice cooker.Not just one of those cheap ones with the glass lids that almost no one in Asia has anymore, but a fancy, computerized one.So when I saw this rice cooker on Amazon and saw that it had a separate pot for steaming/slow cooking, I was sold.I actually had my eye on a 5.5 cup Zojirushi cooker before, but the features (compared to this Sanyo one) just did not compare or justify the price difference.

I GOT THIS RICE COOKER AND IMMEDIATELY MADE SOME RICE AND IT CAME OUT ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I MADE SOME CHINESE JOOK (PORRIDGE) AND IT CAME OUT PERFECT.I USED THE SLOW COOKER TO COOK SOME SPARE RIBS WITH BLACK BEAN SAUCE AND IT CAME OUT TENDER AND PERFECT.THIS COOKER COOKS BETTER THAN ME AND THINKS BETTER THAN ME...WHO COULD ASK FOR MORE.VERY HIGH TECH!!
