- solution for half empty cartriges
I had problem with color cartridges being sensed empty while were still half full and find easy solution.
Cartridges have clear window on front side where you can see trough. When you shake you can see remaining ink.
I used liquidpaper (white out) to paint the window. After minute you can insert it back and sensor will sense full cartridge so you can use your ink till last drop.

- Worst printer ever owned
This is without a doubt the worst printer I have ever owned. When not jamming it just errors out.I had hoped with the good reviews I could get a good printer at a good price.I guess I got what I payed for and nothing more.I will replace it right after the holidays and throw it in the trash. My daughter asked if she could have it and I am saying no.I don't want to have to pay for the wasted paper and ink.I would have given it one star if it had simply quit, but no luck.

- Uses very little ink
I've had this printer for a few months and haven't had any trouble. My only complaint is that the paper tray is shallow, so it runs out of paper frequently. The best thing about it is that it uses very little color ink when printing ordinary black ink documents---practically none. My previous printer, an Epson, used lots of color ink for black and white documents "so that the ink jets won't dry out and clog," as the company says. I've saved a lot of money after switching to a Brother.

- Great down-to-business machine
I chose this all-in-one over the comparable Epson and Canon models because it was a machine that did what it said without a lot of fancy gimmicks. After using it for 6 months now, I'm glad I made the right choice.
Pros:
1. It's a solid, well built machine that has held up well.
2. The drivers are simple and don't take up a lot of computer resources (you can even skip installing the extra features or install them and just open the program when you need to scan, etc).Unlike ... Read More

- It is cheap but ink dries up so fast, printer does not work if one of the ink is empty.
I bought Brother MFC-465CN Inkjet Multi-Function Center.I hardly took 15-20 pages in 2 months period and mostly with black color. Now the CYAN (BLUE) cartridge is empty and the printer won't work even if you want to take printouts with black only.I contacted Customer Service and I was told to buy blue cartrige and replace and then you can take black printing. What a stupid function?Good way to make money.I wish I had returned it within a month, if I had known this.Guys, if you have plenty ...
