- Great for what they are
I have been slowly "greening" my home for the past couple years.I wanted to get placemats that would hold up to my kids (NOT fabric) but also weren't plastic.This seemed like a good compromise.I'd say for the price, these are great.I think I was hoping for something a bit more substantial, they are pretty flimsy and some of the bamboo pieces don't lay completely flat.Given that, they do look nice on my maple kitchen table (I'll add a photo later).The color is very similar (if not the ... Really charming and well made!They come folded in half and then rolled, so you may have to hang some of them to get minor kinks out, but the small sticks lay very evenly and have a nice weight to them.
