- So many issues, so little time
Bought a set of these in plum. Gorgeous color. I hadn't washed them. I was sitting in the bathroom (LOL) only to see two huge pulls on the bath towel. The hand towel showed pale "bleach" spots upon using it to dry my hands; I never have used bleach, honest! I exchanged & the replacement did the same thing. I ended up returning them despite my husband saying the color was "just beautiful."

This is my first bamboo towel and I will probably never go back to cotton...these are fantastic.They are heavyweight, super absorbent and very soft.The best thing about them is they are anti-microbial, which means that they don't get that typical moldy smell that normal towels get after a few uses.You almost forget to wash them because they never get that smell.My only complaint is that they are very linty, even after a couple washes.However, I still highly recommend them and they still ... These are great towels! No questions, I am totally satisfied with this purchase.
* Very Soft, actually extremely soft.Which you wouldn't expect since they are made from Bamboo.
* Heavy in weight. These are the most massive towels I have ever held. You're really getting something for your money here.
* Thick, very thick.They look to be at least 3/8".Boths sides have equal tuffs.Even the washcloths are as thick as the towels. These towels are thicker ... Read More
Rating: - Too Heavy
I bought this towel for my husband.He said it wasn't very absorbent, but after a few washings he says it is better.The towel is very heavy and bulky and I don't know why they recommend a low drying temperature because it does take a long time to dry.He still prefers his thick cotton towels but says this towel is okay.
Rating: - After 6 months still great
I love these towels. They are very soft, even after 6 months use and washing. They are heavy and will require two trips in the dryer. A nice solution is to hang them outside for a while to get mostly dry then a shorter trip in the dryer to finish off and fluff up again.
I can't speak of color issues as these are quite light colored but I don't notice any set stains or color loss from use. I wash using Dropps so no fabric softeners and these towels have held up great so far.
