Got the 32GB Flash Voyager 3-Jan-2008. Formatted NTFS. Stored a large collection of documents. Used the drive for continuously updated Thunderbird mailbox files and for source code development and compiler build directories. Kept 80-90% full during lifetime. Performance met expectations. Caused above normal read/write activity to the drive. Used in at least 10 different PCs. 6-Jun-2009 after safely removing the drive and later replugging to the same Vista PC the drive failed, no longer recognized ... Read More

- Great product, never got rebate
This flash drive is excellent.Very durable, although if kept in pocket the rubber will collect any lint from your pocket. Excellent for storing or transferring large video files.
I purchased this through[...]in mid-March, and they (corsair) were also offering a rebate (I think it ended up costing [...].The purchasing and shipping went smoothly and I promptly mailed in the rebate form and all the required stuff.It's now the beginning of June, and I still haven't received my rebate.

I had to return the product as it would not format.When communicating with the seller, I was advised that once received, they would replace the product and reimburse me for the return postage.Instead of doing that, they issued a full refund for the original purchase price and shipping charges but not the $4.95 I paid to return it.When I questioned them on this, they advised that I could pay them $80 through PayPal and they would ship me another flash drive.I have difficulty in doing business ... With a 64GB capacity in early 2009, I knew I was getting an MLC flash device, and my performance expectations were conceived accordingly.Sure, you can get much faster SLC flash drives, at a fraction the capacity and with much lower space/$.I wrote about 45GB to mine, at an average rate of something like 10MB/s on a MacBook Pro, which was entirely reasonable.I suspect that many of those who complain of the write speed are comparing apples to oranges, or in this case, a large MLC device to a small ...
