- Bonsai is a Japanese term meaning "tree in a tray"
The Juniper Bonsai is the very definition of what bonsai should be: A classic shape, long-lived, and easy to take care...making it ideal for the beginner bonsai hobbyist. Originating in China, the Juniper has low, compact foliage spread with cascade and semi-cascade styles...coupled with hard resinous wood makes the Juniper one of the best loved for advanced sculptural techniques.
Bonsai require a great deal of sun light and do best outdoors, but can be kept indoors if in a well sun ... Read More

- Bonsai!
Ever since I saw Mr Miyagi in the Karate Kid meticulously pruning his Bonsai tree with a pair of toenail clippers I've wanted one of these cute little trees.
When it arrived I was immediately impressed. It looked just like the picture here on Amazon. Well packaged & healthy. Many months later its still going strong. It even grew enough so that I had the opportunity to break out the toenail clippers & have some fun. If you're into that sort of thing, this is a great little tree. If not ... Read More

Well then, why is what you're saying running totally counter to the care sheet that came with the bonsai boy juniper!?That plus I'm positive it advertised "eligible for free shipping"--but alas I paid the 8.95 anyway. AND the picture is full and lush. Mine is pretty darn thin compared to that....... But the worst part is, the Bonsai Boy care sheet says specifically if you bring it indoors to keep it DARK. This is saying keep it well-lit while indoors. ... Read More

- Sorta Pleased
It looks exactly like the picture. The only thing I didn't like was the bowl has pebbles to the top which makes it hard to water without it running off.So, the little guy gets thirsty and is starting to turn brown. You are going to have to keep a close eye on it.
