- Works Most of the Time But Can Be Irritating Too.
Been using this for a while now and much of the time it works fine, but other times we have all sorts of trouble with the screen freezing, the on screen buttons situating themselves off the screen so that you have to reset it from the back with a very small tool in order to be able to use it correctly. The mount that holds it to the dash or window suddenly loses suction sending the unit tumbling.
Still, it has gotten us out of a lot of jams so I can't totally fault it. For the most ... Read More

- Hope you don't really want to use it with battery
This is my 3rd lowrance.I love the way it works and the configurability. In every one of my units the battery has quit charging so there is no way to use it without having it plugges in.Its obvious they have a problem with the charging circuit. If it wasn't for the charging problem, I would have givin it 5 stars. But this is definitely a major problem.Even if you only use it in a car, if the source of power is switched, every time you turn the switch off, you will have to wait for it to acquire ... Read More

- Piece of Junk!
My wife bought this for us at Christmas 08 due to a sale at Bass Pro.It was described as the greatest thing due to all the great crossover details. What we didn't know was that you have to buy most of the things to make this unit usable. As far as gps in the car, it does not recognize most the roads where we live and we have not been able to update it.I would not even think about buying this unit if I were you.Get a Garmin! Mine will end up at a yard sale I'm sure!

- LOG
If stray from route does not recalculate route. Keeps telling you to make u turn. Topo software roads are approx 100 yds off. Directions offroad can tell you to go over cliff. LEI help links don't work.Tech support is worst I've ever seen. Only good part is the price for size of screen.

- Best Marine Crossover Navigation
I've been a boater for 50 years and this is the best device I have ever had. For a long time I used the Garmin Mariner for by boating navigation which is fine, but a minimal device with no marine charting capacity. I wanted to upgrade, but found marine chartplotters outragiously expensive. The new marine mapping Garmins are nice but also very expensive and so are the charts, one would have to spend ~$600 to get set up with Garmin. With this unit I paid $160 for the XOG and found Nautic Path West Coast ... Read More
