The N810 augments the onscreen keyboard with a backlit, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and it also adds a front-facing webcam, 2 GB of internal storage (expandable via memory cards up to 8 GB), and integrated GPS. Built to be constantly in use, you'll easily stay in touch with business associates, friends, and family thanks to its VoIP calling, instant messaging and email connectivity. And with stereo audio, multimedia support and a new ergonomic design, the Nokia N800 morphs into a portable Internet entertainment device, enabling playback of streamed and downloaded content wherever you roam.
The 4.1-inch touchscreen has an 800 x 400-pixel resolution with up to 65K colors. You can access controls and an onscreen keyboard, or slide-out the physical QWERTY keyboard at the bottom for even easier typing. The N810 provides 2 GB of onboard flash memory and 128 MB of RAM. It also offers a single expansion slot that is compatible with Secure Digital (SD), MultiMedia, miniSD, and microSD memory cards with a size limit of 2 GB. (Adapter required for miniSD and microSD.) You can add up to 8 GB of memory when using Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) cards. You can also connect the N810 to a PC using the included USB cable to update software and transfer files from the PC to the a memory card.
For multimedia playback, the N800 is compatible with MP3 and WMA digital audio files, Real Audio streams, and video files encoded as AVI or MPEG4 (see specifications below for full compatibility list). The N810 has two integrated speakers as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for personal listening.
The main form of connectivity is Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), and hooking up to a network is as simple as connecting with a laptop. You can also use the integrated Bluetooth wireless connectivity to hook up with a cell phone that is compatible with online data services. When connected to either a WLAN network or to a cell phone, you can make calls using the built-in Internet telephony application as well as conduct video conferencing with the built-in Web cam.

I got this product mainly to use skype to call home to family when i am traveling. It works well. I had a PSP before and the internet works way better on the nokia internet tablet. I hardly ever have any problems viewing web pages. Things do take a little while to download though. Overall I am very happy with it at the moment

I have owned this device for over a year now. During that time, it has gotten steadily worse. Why? The software. This device is strictly for the geeks. If you want to waste tons of time tweaking, troubleshooting, or hob nobbing with obnoxious 20-something pimply-faced know-it-alls who know nothing, by all means, buy this. If you're looking for a simple device that plays music, browses the web, downloads e-mail, and maybe plays a few games and has a GPS, you will be disappointed.Oh, this device ... Read More

I bought the n810 because it works with Skype. Well, guess again: it comes with Skype preloaded, but Skype won't install. So from my standpoint the n810 is useless. Worst of all, when I contacted Nokia for help they told me this is "third party software" and they don't support it! This despite the fact that Nokia supplies the Skype progam on the n810. I tried to contact Skype for assistance but received no response. This experience ... Read More

I have owned the Nokia N770 as well as the Nokia N800 too, now I thought I'd try the "new & improved" Nokia N810. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed again. Sadly, the OQO company has gone out of business because they had the right idea...just way too expensive. The Nokia internet tablets are more affordable, but still so very frustrating.

I bought this item so I could use Windows Live email (mail.live.com) and Pandora radio (pandora.com) and make phone calls using Skype.
The email took an extremely long time to load. Strike One!
Loading Pandora prettyput too much pressure on the RAM which slowed the entire system down. Strike Two.
Skype wouldn't install on the Me-mo version of this. Strike Three, Your Out!
