- Buy it if you love NASCAR or know someone that does!
Great writing! Monte Dutton takes you inside the world of NASCAR like no other writer can. His years of track-side humor pours from these pages. If you have a NASCAR fan in the family, do them a favor and buy this book for them and then get : NASCAR: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports (Sports by the Numbers) Monte Dutton wrote the Foreword for this book and it can't get any better!
Rating:
- The Wit and Wisdom of NASCAR
Funny book filled with true anecdotes of NASCAR drivers, owners, etc. An easy read. Wish it had MORE stories. Maybe a second volume with the newer drivers/teams will be forthcoming.
Rating:
- Not worth the money
While there were some interesting quotes, this book will leave most fans feeling somehow cheated since the entire book could be read by any child or adult in one sitting. It's definitely not so much a book that was researched and then written as it is a book composed of a bunch of quotes all randomly thrown together. There are much better books out there on racing so save your money and buy one of them.
Rating:
- An entertaining book
The book's too short, but it's good and has some really funny stuff.Perhaps we can look forward to Volume 2 in the near future.
