This is a very good quality shoe and I love it but I bought it thinking it was a sneaker for my son to wear for P.E.It says it's a water shoe--and yes, it's very mesh and has holes near the heel for water to escape.Great shoe though, just KNOW what you're buying.My son loves them!

This shoe is only for early Fall and Spring...it has actual air holes in it and is a little floppy.The pictures don't show the holes...drawback.

I bought two pairs of these in different colors and sizes since they were on sale at a great price. I love the black/ooze colored ones the best!It's a good looking, solidly made sneaker that I think will hold up well for my active 8 year old.Do note that these are not a winter sneaker since they have openings in the back and the inside is lined with mesh for quick drying and breathability during summer months.I think they run true to size.
