- Not so gresat
The Vornado V6 Flippi Fan has much less power than I anticipated. It is hard to turn on & off. That requires 2 hands, which is NOT what I wanted for a bedside fan for middle of the night hot flashes. Its OK for day time, very close-up fanning. Quite over priced for the performance.

i typically keep my office door shut to be more productive during the day.door shut = stuffy, hot office. i needed a fan desperately. i tried two different fans i already had but they didn't work out - one was too beat up and ugly and the other was too big. they were both too loud.
i looked around, read some reviews and decided to order a vornado. it sounds like the brand has a good name, and the fan itself is really cool looking. i actually ordered the zippi fan (with the cloth arms), ... Read More

I love this for use in the office. The low setting gives just a breeze, but that's perfect when it's sitting a foot or so away on my desk. At that speed, it's whisper quiet; my cubicle-mates can't even tell it's on. The quietness was the main reason I bought it.
At high speed, it is noisy, but then so are most fans. In that mode it does put out a lot of air for its size.

I bought this fan with hope to use it on vacation. It was small and would fit in my suitcase easily. Since it was a vornado I thought it would be very powerful. Boy, was I wrong! The fan put out very little air. It cost a lot and doesn't really work that well so I returned it. I was very disappointed in this vornado fan.
Rating: - A lot less than I expected
I purchased this fan despite the high price because I have been impressed by larger my larger Vornado fans.This fan does not come close to maintaining the level of quality of Vornado's larger line of fans.
The fan is powered by electrical outlet (not batteries), has both low and high settings, swivels both vertically and horizontally, and swivels completely downwards for storage when not in use.
