Amazon.com Product Description:
Tired of feeling adrift on the course? Turn to the iGolf GPS Caddie II, a handy golf-course aid that automatically calculates the distances to key points on any golf course in the world. The iGolf GPS Caddie II features such construction details as a large, easy-to-read LCD screen and a durable, lightweight housing. Once you step on the course, however, form takes a backseat to function, as the GPS Caddie II displays the distance to the front, center, and back of the green, while also letting users add up to eight custom points per hole. As a result, you can estimate whether you'll carry the water hazard with your 3-wood or whether you should lay up, and you'll have a better idea of when the sand traps come into play. Estimating your club strength is even easier when using the shot distance feature, which shows you how far you hit each club on average.
The GPS Caddie II holds up to 40 courses at once, and you can easily download other courses from iGolf.com when traveling beyond your home turf. It's also easy to map any course or add custom points yourself, should the downloaded info come up short. Best of all, the GPS Caddie II is accurate within 1 to 3 yards, so you don't have to worry whether your 7-iron is really the right club when attacking the pin.
The GPS Caddie II is ready to use out of the box without requiring any additional software or hardware for custom mapping. However, you'll need a computer and Internet access if you'd like to download pre-mapped golf courses from iGolf.com (subscription required). The GPS Caddie II--which comes with a USB cable, software CD, and belt clip--runs for up to 14 hours on two alkaline or rechargeable AA batteries. The unit itself measures 2.18 by 4.62 by 1.31 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 6.3 ounces.

- Golf GPS
One of the better GPS units for golf that is not hyped up with graphics. This system provides accurate shot making data.
Rating:
- Good Deal
I purchased this item and wont play golf without it now! If you spend a lot of time looking for yardage markers or guessing, this is the product for you. You can spend a whole lot more on other devices that do everything except hit your ball but why? This gives me just what I need. Accurate yardage to the front center and rear of the green! Great deal for the money!

I purchased an iGolf product that failed in the first year.I replaced it at my expense and the 2nd one failed as well.Called cust serv and was told that there is no return or repair policy. No exceptions.I'm now stuck with over $450 worth of useless product.Buyer beware. They are the worst in the industry.

- Great Product
I haven't had the opportunity to review the full extense of its capabilities, but what I have checked out, it is far superior to any other hand held GPS caddie that I have seen. First of all, the ability to store more than ten courses is a big plus for me. There are so many courses in the valley (Phoenix, AZ area), that I can't even count all of them. There are about fifteen of these courses that I play on a regular basis. Plus, I travel and when I go somewhere, I don't want to have to take the courses ... Read More
