- Piece of junk!
Will not stand upright on carpet, wobbly, glass lamp shade merely sits on top of pole and will not stay on, sending it back for refund.

- Broken!
When I received it and assembled it and tried to turn it on, it wouldn't turn on.I then realized that the bulb already blew out. What a piece of junk.

- Nice lamp but becareful when oyu put it together
The first one of these I received didn't go together well and had to be returned.Amazon has a great return policy. The second one went together OK but because it is threaded together and the metal is not the thickest in the world you have to be very careful threading it.The part that broke for me the where the pole connects to the base.Take your time and do it right and you will love the lamp.

- Defective
I just bought this lamp and received it today, and it was defective and didnt work right out of the box.Amazon made me dissassemble it and ship it back to GE, so I wasted about 2 hours of my time to get and return abroken lamp.Buy something else, its not worth the risk.

A previous purchase just like this one has been used for over 6 years without fail. Now I find that after replacing the bulb and verifying the socket power, that it is the ballast that has failed.I am ... Read More
