I applied it 3 nights in a row to get the color I wanted.I was discouraged the first night not seeing much of a change but decided that I like the gradual increase in tan rather than one big change that some other tanners offer.I agree that after showering the tan fades.The best of the color lasted about 3-4 days for me.I used it on my face and liked the color it gave; I have large pores and it didn't make me look speckled or anything.If you want to look tan for a specific event, I would ... I ordered this from a friend's recommendation and I was not at all disappointed. I am very pale and this made my skin just a few shades darker and gave me a wonderful glow.I wasn't going for a deep, dark tan just a little bit of color so I didn't use it as often as others but I liked it. No smell, no orangeness, no streaks and it lasts- what more could you ask?I guess cheapness and being available at the drugstore.

Wow!I'm extremely pale so self-tanners have always streaked on me or looked strange.I tested this Friday night on my legs and torso and I am impressed.No streaks, and by mixing some lotion with it to go over my knees and feet, they look pretty normal too.It does take some time to apply, but it is well worth it.
