Sony's DVP-FX810/L 8" Widescreen LCD boasts a rugged design with sophisticated features! The swivel and flip screen offers multiple viewing angle options whether you are in a car, train or plane, or at the beach. Watch a regular full-length movie with its up to 5 1/2 hour battery capacity (battery life may vary depending on usage conditions) or plug in the supplied car adapter for extended viewing. Control buttons are located on the screen bezel for ease of use. Skip or fast forward a scene is so easy to do either with the control buttons or with the dual-sensor remote control. The special dual-sensor for remote control is a very convenient feature to have especially for the ones that are seated farther away from the screen. It gives them an extra angle to control the DVP-FX810/L remotely.

We bought the player for a long trip, and it worked very well.We have continued to use it both in the car and at home.
Rating: - Nice portable DVD player...
We bought this for a trip to Illinois this summer to keep the kids entertained in the back seat for a long car ride.We encountered -0- issues and 6 months later we still have no issues with it.We charged it up before we left and got through about 2 Spongebob DVDs before it needed to be plugged into the car charger...or about 3 hours worth of run time.

This will likely begin traveling with me on my cross country flights as 3 hours is generally more than enough time to get in a movie ... Read More
