- Wok works but peels after first usage
This wok ring works fine with my wok but it peels after the first time I used it.

This wok ring is made out of low quality metal that has been painted.Typically for real stir-fry you will turn your burners to high (or near high) heat.Just using it once caused the paint to burn off on most of the ring and discolor the metal underneath.Who knows what kind of chemicals were released?I bought an aluminum wok ring from a store in town to use instead and had no problems.
