Rating: - Bang for the buck player
It took me a while to decide on which MP3 player to purchase. I ended up choosing this Silver model of the 4GB Sansa Clip. It's the second Sansa I have bought, the previous model literally died on me (C250). I didn't use the expandable memory function of the previous player and rarely used the picture viewing capabilities. Hence it makes sense I skip those features which are found in the Fuse version.

Rating: - Great player - BUT !!
This player was purchased in December 2008 & was fine until this month, June of 2009 when the spring that holds the clip tight broke thru the plastic & the player was no longer a "clip on player".
It takes forever to get Sandisk to send you another clip & I am still waiting for mine, or even an agreement from them that they will send a replacement clip.
In looking at their online site there are plenty of buyers with broken clips awaiting some satisfaction.

Love this product!Only draw back is that I will now be onmy 3rd one!I purchased one from amazon at christmas...only $35!!For 4GB silver!Great deal but after 1 month of use the screen burned up!Sansa sent me a new one and now once month later it just stops responding.Won't turn on, isn't recognized by my computer!I don't know if I'm cursed or what!I want one that will last!!!I love everything about it with the exception of it's reliability!!Would have given it 5 stars with the exception ... I'm not going to waste your time listing the features.It's a great little player - lightweight, small, and the clip holds it securely in place.My wife and I both have one and it's a fantastic complement to the Rhapsody music subscription service.

I'd have no problems giving this 5 stars if it had lasted more than about a year...it survived to see just beyond the end of its warranty period in fact.

I ordered one of these for myself and one for friend.My friend had no issues with hers but mine wouldn't hold a charge.It would discharge overnight even when it was off.I found other reviewers like myself that like the player but had the same issue.In my case it was a nightmare getting a replacement so I would recommend the player but advise that you find a seller with a good return policy in case you get one of the defective units.Otherwise I highly recommend it.
