- These are wonderful
These are great containers for things like melons, diced tomatoes and cucumbers because they keep the contents from sitting in the juices and things do last a lot longer. I really love them and would buy again.

We picked these up on a whim as a Friday sale item a few months ago and over-all we are happy with them. Like many people we try to incorporate more fruits and veggies into our diet and we do notice that produce does stay fresh longer and nicer in these than in their original packaging. They stack nicely and over-all help keep the produce drawer better organized. They also feature Rubbermaid's lid stackers so everything stores nicely. If you can get a deal on these I recommend them.

I ordered one of these sets after reading all the reviews with much hope that I could help preserve my fruits and veggies a bit longer and save money too. Many times I have gone food shopping and missed eating certain items in time before they've gone bad. well, this certainly has already helped!!! Items I placed a week ago, such as strawberries and lettuce, are still fresh!! I even placed bananas in the large container, which normally for me last about 2 days before starting to turn brown and mushy, ... Read More

We eat a lot of fresh produce, so I bought these. But produce,mainly green leafy vegetables stay fresh for only 2 days more in these, than in the plastic bags in which they come.The herbs got spoiled by the moisture. These containers are expensive as compared to the ordinary rubbermaid containers. I don't think it is worth spending money on these to keep produce fresh for only 2 more days.

I bought one of these and although I love it and saw a large difference in how long the fruit was staying fresh I was not going to buy more. I felt that a price tag of $10 for the one container at my local store was just too much. But amazon has a great price for the set. Although, I'm not sure how useful the small ones will be. I am buying the set.
