Rating: - Great sound - poor reliability
GOOD: No need to say they sound great. I'd say too good for iPhone. You start hearing noises that are coming from iPhone complicated chips.

BAD, very bad: They lasted only 3 months. Not really heavy use. The cable frayed through close to its 3.5mm jack. I disassembled the cable to see what exactly was the problem. 2 cable out of 4 were really in bad condition.

Rating: - iphone plug failed after a few days
I purchased primarily to improve the sound quality of phone conversations. Sound quality was excellent until after about 3 days of use. Then the microphone abruptly quit working.Now, if I wiggle the molded strain relief on the jack it intermittently cuts in and out.My original iphone headset still works OK, but audio is not nearly as clear or loud.I will attempt to return for a new set.

After compiling much research in the area of in ear headphones for the iphone 3g I decided to purchase these.They are kind of pricey for me so I wasted about a full day checking out everything and reading all the reviews.I am completely satisfied with this product.Everyone is right on the money with the bass comments.It is mediocre.It is important to note that mediocre is an order or two above stock so you should still be happy with the bass.The rest of the sound response is pretty awesome! ... Rating: - Not perfect, but the best that's out there for the iPhone
I got my iPhone 3G and the earbuds that come with them are simply unusable. It's quite frankly embarrassing that Apple could listen to them and say, "Yep, they pass our tests!" So I set off to get replacements.

I got the V-Moda II's and the sound was great on them. However, the durability was *horrible*. They would always give out on me within a month. I'm seriously on my fourth pair. While waiting for my latest to return, I got the HF2s.

I ordered these due to the built in microphone to use with my new iphone.I'll just start out by saying that I've had these for under a month now (ordered March 10th) and they have already developed a small fray in the super thin cord, just above the hard plastic of the connector, making it impossible to listen to (sound just cuts out).I haven't been unusually harsh with the ear buds, I just keep my iphone in my front pants pocket probably like a large percentage of people do.The wire is incredibly thin ...
