What is there to say? This flash drive is both high-capacity and cheap. Unfortunately, transfer speeds seem to suffer as a result. Copying a 1GB file can take up to 7 or 8 minutes.

I got this product to go with my Toshiba laptop, you know, to back up important files in the unlikely event of a crash. I have used it a few times to save projects for school, and it always worked for me. I am not an expert on speed, or what makes a good Flash drive, but it seems fine to me. If you're a simple, everyday person like me, this product will do its job. 8GBs are alot, you are going to be able to store alot. I also got it for a very good price. Please see in the "customer images", my shot of the device suspended by an ordinary shoestring, yet with the cap firmly snapped into place.When first glancing at this thing, you are struck by the blocky lanyard loop at the top, and This Is Why.So if you can program your habits to always snap the cap, you need never risk losing it.

This item was put into use immediately and as of today, 6-11-09, is working as anticipated. It is doing everything we wanted and expected of it.Great item for a small price.
