Compatible with all Uniden DECT 6.0 digital expandable systems, the Uniden DWX207 set includes a waterproof accessory handset and charging cradle. The handset meets JIS7 waterproof specifications, which means it can be submersed in up to one meter (3.28 feet) of water for 30 minutes without damage. This system is also impact and dust resistant, so it can truly stand up to wear and tear.
For smooth, dependable operation, the DWX207 utilizes DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) 6.0 technology for interference free reception. Additionally, the high visibility message waiting indicator lets you know immediately after you've received a message, and the caller ID/call waiting features display the name and number of the caller in call waiting even when you're already on the phone. (Note: to activate the caller ID features, you must subscribe through your telephone company.) The advanced phonebook feature stores up to 70 names and offers alphabetical search capabilities, and you can choose among several unique ringers and assign them to specific callers so you'll know who's calling before you pick up the phone. There's even a "Do Not Disturb" feature that assures you won't be interrupted whenever you need a little extra peace and quiet. For added convenience, the DWX207 is expandable up to six headsets.

We've only had the phone a few weeks and it's been raining most of the time here in Massachusetts (Why do we have a pool again?)but so far we like the phone a lot.We've used it in the house and outdoors and it works just as well as our other Uniden DECT 6.0 phones-- works flawlessly with our base receiver.

I bought this as my first DECT phone to cut out with interference from our wireless computer network.For that, this phone seems great.I also liked the fact that it's very sturdy and actually has some 'substance' to it, unlike many of the new cordless phones which are as small as cell phones.We also have a pool and are outside a lot.We haven't dropped it into water or anything yet, so I can't attest to how well it holds up.

I bought it , but never work a tried to speak with Uniden but never give me a solution .
Rating: - Don't bother..
I ordered this phone from Amazon--had it 2 weeks and the battery died.Uniden sent a new one--it lasted 2 days.They sent me a new phone--the person on the other line couldn't hear me.They sent me another new phone--it worked great for about 1 month.Now people are saying they can't hear me again.
I'm going to dump my Uniden phones and go back to V-tech or Panasonic.

I love the idea for this.It's a wonderfully unique concept making a phone that's waterproof.First off, I have to report I don't use it for the pool or spa, so I can't remark on how well it works there.I bought it for the shower so I wouldn't have to slosh across my carpet to answer the phone.For that purpose, the phone is ideal.A word of warning, however:There is a button on the bottom of the phone that signs tell you to press before charging the first time.There's nothing that indicates ...
