- Sadistic Printer looking for Masochistic Technophile
I think the title says it all. I was going to write a 'personal ad' for the printer, but decided this piece of machinery wasn't even worth that modicum of creative effort. Just save yourself the time, money, and aggravation and look elsewhere.

Having owned a number of H p printers this blew my mind. What a piece of wasted technology. Total junk. AWFUL. Ink hog, continual paper jams to say nothing of the setup. And the worst part is a friend of mine's husband works in printer development and actually recommended it. I have no idea what I did to offend them.

I use this printer when I travel to events and set up a booth.I print out photos from the event on proof sheets (using standard office paper) for people to pick what photos they want to order.As a proof sheet the quality is okay and definitely good enough for people to choose what photos they want to order.
For this purpose it works just fine.I wish it was a bit faster and that the ink costs less but it does the job.

Rating: - Worst Printer Purchase EVER!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this printer... When it works! If you print more than one document during a session, you have to reboot your PC to get the printer to work again. HP has some serious issues with the software that runs the Photosmart printers and I will avoid the Photosmart line completely when buying the replacement for this sad little machine.

Before I purchased this product, I read countless bad reviews and frankly, I normally wouldn't have purchased the product based on those reviews.On top of which, I had a similar HP All-in-one which I was not very happy with at all.The print quality was just fair and it went through ink way too fast.
However, I got a very good deal on this printer (bought directly through HP's web site) and needed a wireless printer fast.Plus, all of my other printers have been HP printers as well ... Read More
