- Serious Blender Testing
Due to the recent end of a long term relationship I was put in the position of needing multiple appliances, and furniture, and TV, etc.I was cruising through Amazon looking for just the right items to start my life over. Items that would look at me from the computer screen and say "Hey, I want to be a part of your life." or maybe "Pick me. In the last two (2) years my family of six (6) has started making a lot of smoothies with frozen fruit and ice.I got tired of buying inexpensive blenders burning out or wearing out quickly.After reading other reviews about this product, I decided to purchase it.

this is the best blender i ever had. it does the job it is supposed to and that is the bottom line.i was very unhappy with the blender that was the one switch deal and claimed to work as it did in the 1940's and fifties, (not a chance) my mom had that style and the new rendition can't come close. in fact, a famous chef was using it to make chocolate pudding, blending silkened tofu and chocolate (melted) and it didn't move, the chef had to take a spatula and help the ingredients along to blend better. ... This blender is amazing. Not only for the price but for its power. I hate noisy blenders and this one is not too noisy. It blends at 12 different speeds and I hardly use the "high" speeds. The "low" ones do the job just fine. The glass jar is really nice too. Overall its really nice, aesthetics wise and utility wise. This is probably the best blender I've owned.
